Amara Kennedy

Amara Kenndy began dancing at the age of 11 at Pas De Deux Hawaii where she discovered her passion for movement through Ballet. She received her BFA in Dance from Montclair State University in the spring of 2025. During her time at Montclair she has performed in works by Jessica DiMauro Marks, Andre Tyson, Maxine Steinman, Leslie Kraus, Kameron Mckinney, and Meredith Rainey. Kennedy’s choreographic works include Pololia and To Boom, a collaborative work with poet A. Adenike Phillips and musician Ori Ahinoam.
